This week we would want you to visit this lovely store Haven, in Boulder, Colorado. If you live close or you plan to go and visit Boulder, make sure you pay a visit to this store. Lots of gems can be found...
What is the general vibe/style of your store?
It’s a Lifestyle shop with a range of everything from vintage and found objects to resort wear and small batch apothecary.
What brands you carry and/or how you choose the products to your store?
We carry Las Bayadas, Lola Hats, Strght Skateboards, Kelly Lamb ceramics, Herbivore Botanicals, Moon Juice dusts and provisions, vintage items…
We carry things we love which tend to be unique, indie, or small batch.
What is special about the place you are located?
Boulder, CO is part mountain town, part small city. We are home to cutting edge technology and scientific research, farm-to-table food brands, the highest concentration of Olympic athletes, we have endless acres of protected, open space for hiking and mountain biking, and are about an hour from world-class ski resorts.
Recommendations for people who are in the area…
Start your day with a butcher’s choice breakfast burrito from Top Chef, Hosea Rosenberg’s shop, take a hike up Chautauqua, preferably to Flatiron 1 for an epic view of the Continental Divide at the top and Boulder, Denver, and the plains on the way up and down. Hit some local shops: Haven (!), Cedar and Hyde, Alpine Modern, Nod and Rose…and grab a press pressed juice at Wonder (because you are in Boulder!) Refuel with a pour over at BoxCar/Cured, finish your day with dinner at Pizzeria Locale or Oak at Fourteenth.
Any possible additional info… (your favorite beach, travel destination, source of inspiration to your store/style etc.)
My favorite beach is Shell Beach on St Bart’s, I’m currently obsessed with Kauai, and love everything about ABC Home and Carpet in NYC.
Thank you Haven to share your story with us!!
