In Sayulita the high season kicks in in the end of October, beginning of November. This is when most of the seasonal residents are already back and beaches start getting busier with weekend vacationers.
Best part of this time is without the doubt Dia de Los Muertos, which is celebrated with style in our little pueblo. This year especially, the locals saw a huge effort to decorate the town and what even greater, they did this using mostly recycled materials. Just love how our town goes that extra mile in order to spread the important message to protect the beautiful nature we are surrounded by.
The celebration went on from 30th October till 2nd of November, full of music, dance and incredible altars which were put up on the town plaza. The streets were given a new sky made of papel picado, which made town look incredibly colourful and cute.
Here are some photos we like to share with you all about our beautiful town. If you never been in Mexico, we recommend you spare some time on your calendar for next November and enjoy this beautiful celebration.
